Forever - Chris Brown*
Haven't been up to much lately except the countdown to my much needed holiday which is in 2 weeks after this one.
And 1.5 years or there abouts of actual uni left.
Having to look for new houses due to the realy bad rusty and mouldy sme ll and the dirty dirty dirty kitchen, the bogan neighbours and the freakiness at night for next year.
Over the weekends, Harley and i decided to be adventurous and go to places and eat. He took me to this real nice jap resturant that i did not even know existed which had technologies that amuse simple minds like mine. The decor of the resturant was very traditional with big wooden booths which really gave the privacy that you would want. But the best part of it all was the fact that you got to order all your food on a screen and the waiters seem to just pop up at your table as soon as you've put your orders through on the screen. Very amusing and really sure did make my meal all that more entertaining.
This is a picture of the screen with Harley not looking very eager about the food, which he should have been.

the rainbow sushi that was real good.
Also, due to Lisa's constant mention of T2 teahouse and the awesomeness of it, i decided to do some research about it over the weekends and unfortuantely although there are heaps of T2 shops around only Hornsby and Macquarie centre had teh actual teahouses. So on Sunday, i dragged Harley and we went on quite of a walk around Macq centre to find this legendary teahouse and i must say it was well worth it. The decoration and the dark lighting really accentuated the oriental atmosphere and the origins of tea from Asia - walls of all different shaped and sized teapots, newspapers, dim lighting and can't forget the unique tea. I had a apple and rose tea which i forgot the name of but it was very yummy indeed. So if any of you are around Macq shopping centre, definately go and look for the tea shop!
My drink...it looks much better in real life

Then we adventured to north sydney cause i wanted to show Harley, Strewth (a cafe with really nice food that we used to all go to while in high school) and having not have been to crows nest in a while, we found that it had either moved or shut down. Don't know...but it was gone!
And a few other places where our picky tastebuds have taken us!
A cafe at Beverly Hills that we decided to go to one raining night. Thinking that it would be good cause it was so packed and indeed it was. Here's a pictures of my Toberlone pyramid. Desserts always the best part of a meal!

My cupcakes that i was overly obsessed with getting from teh cupcake shop on Pitt st! They are pretty aren't they!

However, today i found out the wonders of abnormally fast internet and unlimited download at my uni library. The computer lab is like the only bright, modern and colourful room in a very gloomy concrete building. (no offence to my library but it's one of the ugliest structures i've ever seen). If i could and wasn't so scared of walking through the forest of my uni, i would stay longer at hte 24hr computer lab, but unfortunately my uni takes after a bushland.
I can't believe that for most of us, internet was invented in our lifetime. To think of it, when we hear people say the TV was invented when they were young the first thing we think of is "geez they're so old", yet one day our kids will say to us or think "geez your ancient" caus internet was invented when you were young. The world is a funny thing..
Anyways, haven't seen my girls in a while but hopefully that will change with
the holidays coming soon! Parties? not many recently either.
But for now, it's back to work and spending time with friends here and there.
Hope everyone's holding up well and their midsems have gone through smoothly.
That's all now folks
xx
